Mamata Volunteers Mamata Volunteers is a Non-Profit Organization stationed both in Nepal and the United States devoted to being the bridge between those in need and those who want to help. Our mission is to provide volunteers with customized volunteer programs which enable them to make much needed contributions to the poor but happy and friendly people of Nepal, one of the most beautiful countries in the world, while also providing them with the priceless experience of a new culture that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.

As part of our volunteer program in Nepal, Mamata provides Nepali culture and language training and then places trained volunteers in schools, hospitals, orphanages, and communities across the remote region of Nepal. Volunteers with Mamata are granted a nearly endless amount of customization in how they choose to volunteer. Ranging from teaching English in schools and monasteries, helping in orphanages, all the way to working on environmental projects or assisting in local hospitals or Farmers. Unlike other Volunteer organizations Mamata works individually with each volunteer before their departure, designing the perfect volunteer program crafted just for them in Nepal and India.

No other program offers our level of customization, safety, uniqueness of programs or value! You can start the volunteer program in Nepal or India on any date of your choice throughout the year. The program is from 1 weeks up to 20 weeks. You need to fly into the airport of Katmandu where you will be picked up from the airport. The first 3 days of your program will consist of a training program combined with sightseeing in Kathmandu valley of Nepal. This is an example of a 2 weeks volunteering program in Nepal: Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu, airport pickup and transfer to your accommodation - rest. Day 2 and 3: Relax and explore Katmandu. Training and orientation in Katmandu with sightseeing in the afternoon. Day 4 – 13 : Transport to your project location ( Kathmandu valley, Nuwakot, Dhading or Chitwan) . Your volunteer work starts at your project. Day 14: End of the program. Return to Katmandu for your onward journey or join more treks, tours , Jungle safari or any activities
