"If you can't feed a hundred people then just feed one" - Mother Teresa
Mamata Volunteers is a Non-Profit Organization stationed both in Nepal and the United States devoted to being the bridge between those in need and those who want to help. Our mission is to provide volunteers with customized volunteer programs which enable them to make much needed contributions to the poor but happy and friendly people of Nepal, one of the most beautiful countries in the world, while also providing them with the priceless experience of a new culture that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
As part of our volunteer program in Nepal, Mamata provides Nepali culture and language training and then places trained volunteers in schools, hospitals, orphanages, and communities across the remote region of Nepal. Volunteers with Mamata are granted a nearly endless amount of customization in how they choose to volunteer. Ranging from teaching English in schools and monasteries, helping in orphanages, all the way to working on environmental projects or assisting in local hospitals or Farmers. Unlike other Volunteer organizations Mamata works individually with each volunteer before their departure, designing the perfect volunteer program crafted just for them in Nepal and India.
Through our unique split structure of local offices in Nepal and the United States Mamata is able to provide the best possible service at the best possible prices. Contact our western staff at any time for more information or e-mail us! At Mamata we work with you to build a custom program tailored to your exact specifications.
